The Complete Guide

Solfeggio Frequencies Chart: Every Healing Frequency, What It's For, and How to Use It

One page for the whole spectrum: 174 Hz to 963 Hz, plus 432, 444, 888 and 136.1 Hz. What each tone is traditionally for, what listeners report, which Human Reprogram track carries it, and where to go deeper.

Quick answer: The nine Solfeggio frequencies are 174, 285, 396, 417, 528, 639, 741, 852 and 963 Hz. The lower tones are for the body and safety, the middle tones for emotion, change and relationships, and the higher tones for expression, intuition and awareness. Start with 528 Hz (or 174 Hz if you're anxious), and build upward.

Where the Solfeggio Frequencies Come From

The name comes from solfège, the do-re-mi system used to teach singing. The six original tones (396, 417, 528, 639, 741, 852 Hz) were popularised in the 1970s by Dr. Joseph Puleo, who linked them to a medieval hymn to John the Baptist, and 174, 285 and 963 Hz were added later to complete the set. 432 Hz and 444 Hz are alternative tuning standards for the note A rather than Solfeggio tones; 888 Hz is a modern addition whose meaning comes from the number; and 136.1 Hz, the "Om" frequency, is derived from the length of the Earth's year.

What the research does and doesn't say: no controlled trial has confirmed the specific claim attached to any single tone. What is well documented is that slow, sustained sound lowers physiological arousal, that music is one of the most durable memory systems the brain has, and that emotionally-loaded phrases set to melody are retained far better than spoken ones. That is why Human Reprogram doesn't sell tones on their own. Every track pairs the frequency with a sung, present-tense affirmation, so the tone settles the nervous system and the words do the reprogramming. Here's the full explanation.

How to Choose and Use a Frequency

Start with 528 Hz or 174 Hz

528 Hz (self-worth and identity) is the right first frequency for most people. If anxiety is the main issue, start with 174 Hz. Both are gentle and both are foundational.

Work upward

The scale is designed as an ascent: safety (174, 285) → clearing (396, 417) → transformation (528) → connection (639) → expression (741) → intuition (852) → awareness (963). You don't have to be rigid about it, but 963 Hz lands better on a settled nervous system.

Daytime vs. night

741 Hz and 888 Hz are bright and energising: use them for work and mornings. 174, 285, 432 and 528 Hz are settling: use them for evenings and the sleep window.

Don't try

Put the track on in the car, in the shower, or as you fall asleep. Don't focus on the words, don't repeat them. The melody does the memorising. The sign it's working is a line from the track showing up in your head on its own the next day.

Give it 21 days

Most people notice their baseline shift within the first week. The deeper changes take three to six weeks of consistent listening, which is why every Human Reprogram track carries a 21-day money-back guarantee.

Solfeggio Frequencies FAQ

What are the Solfeggio frequencies?

The Solfeggio frequencies are a set of nine tones (174, 285, 396, 417, 528, 639, 741, 852 and 963 Hz) drawn from an old six-note musical scale and used in modern sound healing. Each is traditionally paired with a different layer of experience, from physical safety (174 Hz) to elevated awareness (963 Hz). 432 Hz, 444 Hz, 888 Hz and 136.1 Hz are often used alongside them.

Which Solfeggio frequency should I start with?

528 Hz for most people (self-worth and identity), or 174 Hz if anxiety is the main issue. Work upward from there. 963 Hz is the one to build toward, not start with.

Do Solfeggio frequencies actually work?

There are no controlled clinical trials for the specific claims attached to each tone. What is well documented is that sustained tones lower stress arousal, and that repeated, emotionally-loaded phrases set to music are retained far better than spoken ones. Human Reprogram builds on the documented part: the frequency settles the nervous system and the sung affirmation does the reprogramming.

What is the best Solfeggio frequency for sleep?

Lower tones: 174 Hz and 528 Hz are the most popular for sleep. For dedicated sleep work, Human Reprogram also makes 2 Hz, 3 Hz, 4 Hz and 7 Hz tracks that target the brainwave bands of deep sleep.

Can I listen to more than one frequency a day?

Yes. A common pattern is a bright tone (741 Hz or 888 Hz) during the day and a settling tone (528 Hz or 174 Hz) at night. The Master Key Bundle includes all of them.

What is the difference between a pure tone and a Melodic Affirmation™?

A pure tone is just the frequency. A Melodic Affirmation™ adds present-tense affirmations sung to an original melody over that tone, so the words are retained the way song lyrics are. The Master Key Bundle includes 7 pure tones and 62 Melodic Affirmations™.
